A romance novel that tells the story of a young woman who inherits a farm in Devonshire from her uncle and decides to run it herself, despite the opposition of her relatives and neighbours. She meets a handsome farmer who helps her with the farm, but also faces challenges from a rival landowner who wants to buy her property. The book was written by Joan Butler, a British novelist and historical biographer, and published by Stanley Paul & Co in London in 1952. It has 239 pages.
