This book is a study of the history of womens education in England before the advent of the Blue Stockings, a group of educated women who met for literary discussions in the late 18th century. The book was written by Ada Wallas, a British historian and feminist, and published by George Allen and Unwin in 1929. It has 223 pages and contains references and an index. Additional remarks: Damaged DJ – Silverfish damage, very large piece missing from the front, and yellowed spine.
