Aubrey on Education is a book edited by J. E. Stephens, a British scholar and professor of education. It was published by Routledge and Kegan Paul in 1972 and has 204 pages. The book is a hitherto unpublished manuscript by John Aubrey, a 17th-century English antiquary and biographer, best known for his Brief Lives. The book contains Aubreys ideas and observations on various aspects of education, such as the curriculum, the methods, the teachers, the languages, the arts, the sciences, and so on. The book also includes an introduction, notes, appendices and an index by Stephens. The book is a valuable source for the history of education and culture in England during the Restoration period.
