A cartography book by John Norden, presented to James Alfred Steers, published by W Heffer & Sons in 1966. The book contains 22 maps of Oxford and its surroundings, mainly drawn by Norden, a 16th century English cartographer, along with an introduction and notes by Steers, a 20th century British geographer. The book has 22 pages plus xix – xxxii pages of introduction and notes. All plates present. Dust jacket a little worn and soiled with some loss to spin and edges (protected by a plastic sleeve). Nethertheless, remains a clean with no previous owners’ markings or inscriptions.
